Meet Our Maine Team

Nidhi Turner, MSW, LICSW

Vice President of Community Based and Outpatient Services

Nidhi received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Connecticut and her Master’s degree in Social Work from Boston College . Nidhi has over 13 years experience working with children, youth and families in a variety of settings including residential, school, hospital and community based environments. Nidhi has been working in community and home based treatment for the last 9 years in Massachusetts and has been with Northeast Family Services since 2012. Her training has focused on Solution Focused, CBT and Trauma Informed Care for Children, Youth and Families. Nidhi serves as the V.P. overseeing our 5 regional offices in Massachusetts as well as the Clinic Administrator for our Outpatient Clinics in Massachusetts.

Penelope Snow, M.S,  LCSW

Program Director

Penelope’s professional journey started in 1990, working in the field while also earning a BA degree in Social Work, Summa Cum Laude, from The University of Southern Maine, graduating in 1996 and an MS degree in Social Work from The University of New England, graduating in 2001. She taught psychology courses as an adjunct professor in the Maine Community College system for 10 years and is a strong believer in psychoeducation as a tool to help people improve their mental and behavioral health. She has experience working with children, adolescents and adults in a variety of settings. She has worked as a community case manager, residential supervisor, foster care caseworker, family advocate, outpatient clinician, play therapist, and as a member of the acute psychiatric team in Maine’s busiest emergency department. Penelope has worked within the refugee/immigrant communities in Maine and has extensive experience using telehealth. Penelope also has an interest in disaster mental health, and is an active volunteer with the American Red Cross, earning a place on the Maine Roll of Honor, Governor's Awards for Service and Volunteerism and in 2018 she was awarded the President’s Volunteer Service Award. She considers social work her calling and is committed to clinically sound, ethical and compassionate practice.  

Cheri Greable, MA

Clinician

Cheri received her Master's degree in Special Education and Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of New England. Cheri also carries a license as a 

Licensed Clinical Counselor in the state of Maine. She has many years of experience in school based, out-patient, addiction and home and community treatment. She has trained and practiced in MST and PSBMS. Cheri has joined the newly developed Maine location of Northeast Family Services, providing HCT services to families.

Kelly Harmon, MA

Clinician

Kelly received her Masters degree in Social Work from The University of New England. Kelly has over 11 years experience working with adults, children, youth and families in a variety of settings including schools, residential, and community based environments. Kelly has been working in community and home based treatment for the last 9 years. Kelly incorporates a variety of treatment modalities to foster a holistic approach and work with each client at their own pace. Specific modalities include:  Family systems work, Solution Focused, Client Centered and Strength- based, to support clients to empower themselves in their healing process. Kelly's emphasis includes honoring the clients experiences and clients ability to find their own distinct path. Kelly has served in the Armed Forces which has allowed her to also address anxiety, depression and PTSD as well as provide readjustment education and family support. 

Jennifer Duff, BA

Behavior Support Professional

Jennifer received her Bachelor’s Degree from Belhaven University. Prior to becoming a Behavioral Health Professional, Jennifer spent many years working with private insurance companies. She enjoys working as a team with all clinical staff, parents, and caregivers to provide individualized treatment and help implement the client’s goals to meet their needs. Jennifer has joined the newly developed Maine location of Northeast Family Services, providing HCT services to families.
